Recorded in 1984 at the same sessions that produced the "Black and White" EP ... originally, an EP-like 'sampler' designed to break the band into New York and Los Angeles radio air space, it has now become a nostalgic, time-capsule [analogue] recording meticulously engineered and mixed by the late, great Emitt Rhodes at his home studio in Hawthorne, California (just around the corner from the 7-Eleven that The Beach Boys often drove past ... waving). This cool pop song, with a spot-on vocal by Roland, sat in a very lonely state on a dime-store cassette tape for decades—until The Lads discovered it (completely by accident) in 2022 and subsequently re-mixed it (as best they could) in an effort to release the "Anniversary" Deluxe Edition (even though it still sounds like a cassette tape!) Go figure ... they didn't! Mercifully, in 2025, using updated tech, The Lads gave it a second remix to make it 'Radio-Friendly' ... and here it is now ...

Yeah, okay ... so, below this Public Service Announcement, you will find a bunch of NEW re-mixes of OLD songs, which is a sure-fire way to get more air-play, right? RIGHT! In the Year of our Chord, Two-Thousand-Twenty-Five, The Lads decided to dig up some of their best past material ... and carefully give each one a new coat of paint (or however that ridiculous folksy saying goes) ... that is, re-mix each song here, in The Digital Age, to sort of make them all sharp and relevant ... again. So, our suggestion is that you please return your seat-backs and tray tables to their full, upright position and be sure to fasten your safety belt because there is turbulence and a wild ride just ahead ...
