SURPRISE! Yeah ... even to us, really. We really hadn't planned to release a brand new album in January 2026, but (and yes ... "But what? Everyone I know has a big "But" ... C'mon, Simone, let's talk about 'your' big "But") as we were (vigorously) working on our next TWO (count 'em) album projects, we took a little break during the 2025 Holidays and listened to some of our older recordings (specifically from our 2018 sessions at The Windmill) and, Boy Hickey! Those older recordings really sounded GREAT ... Radio Friendly ... Tuneful ... and FUN! Just sayin' ... Then, we started to wonder WHY we never released any of this good stuff ... too busy recording other, newer good stuff, maybe? No matter ... from around 50 songs recorded at that time, we cherry-picked (by hand, no less) a dozen ... did a very quick 2026 upgrade to the mixes and a new sequencing order and ... drum roll (if we had a drummer) ... ¡ VOILÀ ! we had ourselves a 'brand new' 12-song album of really cool, masterfully-recorded but 'forgotten' Colon-Geraci songs that totally deserved to see the light of day! So, because we sort of 'found' them through reflection, that is, looking back ... we oh so cleverly named the collection "REAR-VIEW-MIRROUR" (get it? get it? looking BACK, right?)—nice cheeky title, eh? And now, here it is: A (surprise) NEW album from MIRROUR - our first musical offering for 2026 and hopefully one that YOU will enjoy as much as we do! OK, break's over, Lads ... time to get BACK TO WORK on the "real" NEW albums ...

"the great mirrour takeover"

phonic fm under siege! charming, peaceful exeter, devon will never again be the same!

Woe to the citizens (and house pets) of beautiful Exeter ... the rumors are TRUE ... from across the Pond, they come ... and they conquer ... and, if a brave soul rises up, they will have the rare opportunity to reverse history by riding up and down the shores of The Exe River proclaiming: "The Americans are coming! The Americans are coming!" It was a date for the history books: Saturday, January 17, 2026: they locked Jason Maddocks in the boot of his car ... they dismissed the PHONIC FM staff ... and, they TOOK OVER ... made a lot of long distance phone calls ... threw stuff out the window ... and left a serious MESS ... Yeah, unsuspecting PHONIC FM, the pride of peaceful Exeter, Devon, was under siege!  No one is spared ... and no one is safe! And the music? Well, if Marmite could talk ... or, maybe even sing ...THE GREAT MIRROUR TAKEOVER ...

BE AFRAID
Be VERY afraid. Just sayin' ...

and finally, a not-so-award-winning interview with a real live award-winning presenter ...

"THE record machine show"

mirrour is interviewed by award-winning James michael hollenstein

As you have surely heard by now, we were quite honored to be asked by JMH to participate in a one hour+ interview with him on his award-winning radio show "THE RECORD MACHINE". James found us ... "Liked" us (at FB) and then asked us for an exclusive interview pertaining to our current album, "Opus in C major", still streaming on all major global platforms ... and THIS website ... it was great fun and James is such a gracious host ... hope we didn't tear up his studio (and reputation) too badly!
